TruckMovers Hires John Hummel
Kansas City, MO - May 24, 2006 - TruckMovers.com, Inc. of Kansas City, Mo., has announced the appointment of John Hummel as director of operations — New Truck Transportation.
Hummel will be responsible for coordinating the company's move into the new-truck driveaway market. “He is developing plans for delivering new trucks from manufacturing plants throughout the United States,” said Tom Duvall, president and CEO of TruckMovers.com.
A 15-year trucking industry veteran, Hummel recently served as vice president of operations for Auto Truck Transport, a truck delivery company based in Joplin, Mo. Earlier in his career he was terminal manager and assistant manager with Dallas & Mavis Forwarding in St. Louis. He holds an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Missouri — St. Louis.
